The college was represented at the conference by student Malak Muhammad Kazim, as part of the student volunteer work team. She highlighted the volunteer initiatives implemented by the college in the areas of community service, the environment, education, and health, embodying the spirit of initiative and national belonging among students.
This conference comes within the framework of promoting a culture of volunteer work and instilling the values of giving and social responsibility among Iraqi university students. With the participation of fifty universities from various governorates, it included an accompanying exhibition showcasing student volunteer initiatives. The event concluded with an honoring ceremony for the President of the University of Baghdad, Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Insaf, and the participating students in recognition of their efforts in supporting volunteer work both on and off campus.
The college’s participation in this conference aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. This contributes to developing student skills and promoting social responsibility and national belonging.
