The Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad, Dr. Adel Al-Budaiwi, received the Executive Director of the Japanese Agency for International Cooperation in Iraq (JICA), Yonda Jin, accompanied by the Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at the University Rectorship , Dr. Omar Faleh, and the Dean Assistants’ of the College, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mayali, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and , Dr. Hisham Ezzaldeen Majid, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs.
The Dean of the College indicated that there was agreement on a road map for establishing research partnerships between the College of Political Science at Baghdad university and Japanese universities, as well as the development of human resources.
For his part, the director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance confirmed that the starting point for joint research work with Japanese universities will be in the college of Political Science.
At the end of the visit, the Dean of the College welcomed the Director of the Japanese Agency and present him a number of publications and books related to political science.
