The College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad commenced, on Thursday morning, May 7, 2026, the postgraduate examinations (Master’s and PhD) for the second semester of the academic year 2025–2026, in an organized and academic atmosphere characterized by high efficiency and the provision of all requirements necessary for the success of the examination process.
The Dean of the College of Political Science, Prof. Dr. Adel Abdul-Hamza Al-Badawi, conducted a field tour of the examination halls prior to the commencement of the examinations to review the preparedness of the examination committees, faculty members, and the availability of technical and administrative requirements. He emphasized the importance of providing an appropriate academic environment that ensures students can perform their examinations smoothly and regularly in accordance with approved university regulations and instructions.
During another tour conducted while the examinations were in progress, the Dean monitored the distribution of examination questions and the level of organization within the halls. He also reviewed the students’ needs and stressed the necessity of maintaining accuracy, discipline, and the provision of a suitable environment that reflects the scientific and administrative standards of the College.
The examinations witnessed the early attendance of examination committees and faculty members, alongside the implementation of organizational procedures aimed at facilitating students’ entry and ensuring smooth movement within the examination halls, in addition to preparing a calm and suitable environment that contributes to enhancing concentration and achieving optimal academic performance.
These efforts come within the framework of the College of Political Science’s commitment to supporting the quality of higher education and enhancing a sustainable educational environment, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 related to “Quality Education,” through the provision of rigorous academic education and a university environment supportive of scientific research and academic excellence, thereby contributing to the preparation of qualified academic cadres capable of keeping pace with knowledge challenges and development requirements
