The Deanship of the College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad hosts Dr. Harith Mohammed Ibrahim, Head of the Media and Government Communication Department at the University, accompanied by his team. He meets with Assistant Professor Dr. Adel Al-Badiwi and Assistant Lecturer Baraa Amer Yahya, Head of the Media and Government Communication Unit at the college, to strengthen institutional coordination and develop media operations.
During the meeting, the representatives discuss ways to elevate the performance of the Media and Government Communication Unit and address the primary challenges facing its workflow. They evaluate the unit’s technical and organizational needs to improve media content quality, enhance communication with internal and external audiences, and consolidate transparency in reporting academic activities.
The participants emphasize the importance of unifying efforts and integrating roles between the University’s central Media Department and the various college units. This alignment supports the University of Baghdad’s vision to improve institutional performance and build a professional media discourse that reflects scientific and administrative achievements.
This visit aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 16 regarding building effective and transparent institutions. It also contributes to Goal 4 (Quality Education) by providing media support to the university environment, enabling it to fulfill its educational and research mandate with high efficiency.
