The College of Political Science – University of Baghdad, represented by the Continuing Education Unit, organized a training workshop entitled “Government Protocol, Official Etiquette, and Model Meetings” at Al-Hurriya Hall.

The workshop aimed to enhance skills related to government protocol, formal and social etiquette, and to enable participants to acquire model professional behavior in official meetings and encounters, thereby contributing to improving institutional performance quality.

The workshop addressed the principles of government protocol, mechanisms for managing official meetings, and methods of fostering positive interaction within institutions. It also included practical demonstrations presented by specialized faculty members, in addition to a keynote lecture delivered by Dr. Saadoun Hussein Jabbar.

The organizers emphasized the importance of reinforcing a culture of institutional protocol and incorporating these topics into annual training programs, in a manner that strengthens the institution’s image and enhances public confidence in its performance. This aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals—particularly Goals 4 and 16—and supports the orientations of the Iraqi National Security Strategy
