The Unit of Human Rights, in cooperation with the Political Thoughts department in the College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad, on the 19th of November, 2025, arranged a workshop entitled “The Integration of Artificial Intelligence with the Political and Social Frames in facing Violence,” which took place at Al-Huria Hall. The presenters were Assistant.Prof.Dr. Hamida Ali Jaber ,Assistant.Prof.Dr. Shahlaa Rida Mahdi, Dr.Alia Abdul-Ameer, and Dr.Suha Hassan Sharhan .
The workshop aimed at shedding light on the importance of Artificial Intelligence in promoting justice, supporting conscious political leadership, and building a stable and peaceful society through three main principles: Enforcing justice, improving leadership, decision-making, and consolidating the culture of social peace in a way that complies with the principles of Human Rights. The targets of the workshop comply with the sixteenth goal of Sustainable Development, which states: peace, justice, and strong institutions.
The workshop recommended the necessity of adding emotional to the training and educational programs in the public and academic institutions, for its effective role in limiting violence, supporting the conscious relationship, and anchoring the principles of Human Rights, in addition to adopting policies that participate in building a sustainable peace culture and developing individuals ability to manage emotional reactions in a way that enhance justice and law sovereignty
