The Unit of Rehabilitation and Employment at the College of Political Science – University of Baghdad organized an educational scientific workshop entitled “Time Management Skills” on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, held in the undergraduate study halls and presented by Dr. Hussein Hamza Ali Al-Yasiri and Assistant Lecturer Maha Abdul Kareem Zainal, with the attendance of second-year students.

The workshop aimed to raise students’ awareness of the importance of time management and organizing their academic lives effectively to help them achieve their academic and personal goals. It discussed methods of setting priorities, making optimal use of time, and establishing regular study schedules that ensure daily revision and task follow-up. It also emphasized the positive use of technological development while avoiding unproductive activities that waste time and negatively affect students’ futures.

The workshop concluded with recommendations urging students to respect class times and adhere to an organized and specific work schedule that contributes to achieving academic excellence and success. It also encouraged them to invest their time in developing their skills and achieving their educational and personal goals effectively.

This workshop aligns with the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (Quality Education), as it contributes to enhancing students’ skills and raising their awareness of the importance of proper planning and time management to achieve a successful academic and professional future.
