Under the auspices of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Insaf, and the supervision of the President Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Raghad Abdulrazzaq Mohammed, the Photography Exhibition of Volunteer Work was inagurated by the Director of the Student Activities Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hassanien Basim, on Tuesday morning, October 14, 2025. The event was held at the exhibition hall of the Student Activities Department, with the presence of Prof. Dr. Ali Sadiq, Director of Student Activities at the University of Baghdad.
The College of Political Science – University of Baghdad – participated in the exhibition through the representation of Lec. Areej Saad Adnan, Head of the Student Activities Division, and Assist. Lec. Dhamyaa Abdulilah, Head of the Artistic Activities Unit. The College presented a collection of photographs documenting students’ volunteer initiatives in areas such as community service, environment, education, and health while also reflecting the college’s commitment to promoting a culture of volunteerism and fostering a spirit of initiative and generosity among students.
This exhibition is part of a broader series of student activities organized by the University of Baghdad to showcase student contributions to volunteer work while also encouraging their active engagement in serving the community. At the closing remarks of the event, Prof. Dr. Ali Sadiq commended the students’ outstanding contributions, ensuring that the Student Activities Department’s ongoing support for initiatives that develop creative skills and strengthen the culture of volunteerism both within and beyond the university.
