As part of the ongoing efforts to develop intellectual and leadership skills and enhance both field and academic competencies, Assistant Lecturer Abdul-Hadi Majeed Obeid and Assistant Lecturer Waleed Mahdi Hussein from the College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad participated in the Field Leadership Preparation Course, held in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The course aims to foster participants’ intellectual and leadership abilities by linking theoretical knowledge with practical field applications. It seeks to prepare academic and professional cadres capable of meeting challenges, making strategic decisions, and contributing to the advancement of education and scientific research.
The program also provided participants with the opportunity to exchange experiences with international specialists and to learn about the latest methods in leadership and field management. This contributed to enhancing their planning, organizational, and teamwork skills across diverse professional environments.
This participation comes as part of individual efforts to develop academic and leadership capacities, in line with the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (Quality Education), which advocates for providing inclusive and equitable quality education that ensures the acquisition of the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve sustainable development and serve society.
