Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Political Science – University of Baghdad, Assistant Professor Dr. Adel Abdul-Hamza Al-Badewi, the Women’s Affairs Unit organized two specialized academic workshops. The first was titled “The Art of Diplomatic Etiquette in the Workplace,” and the second, “The Green Impact Initiative,” presented by:
• Dr. Rana Abdul-Hussein Ali – Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit,
• Dr. Ayat Nasser Jabir, and
• Assistant Lecturer Amani Sabri.
The first workshop discussed the methods and principles of etiquette, the differences between etiquette, protocol, and ceremonial procedures, in addition to the foundations of formal diplomatic conduct and the manners of interacting with dignitaries and delegations in a refined and professional way.
The second workshop focused on the objectives of the Green Impact Initiative, highlighting the importance of green education in raising environmental awareness and enhancing community engagement. It also emphasized the need to integrate environmental education into school curricula, develop youth life skills, and collaborate with international organizations to support sustainable education.
