College of Political Sciences at the University of Baghdad Hosted a scientific specialized Workshop at Al- Hurria Hall entitled “On line First in the Academic Journals: Advantages and Applications” which was held in cooperation with the Computer Center affiliated to the presidency of the University .
The workshop witnessed a remarkable attendance of editorial boards and managers of scientific journals websites in the colleges, institutions, and centers of the University. It focused on the importance of activating the feature of Online First in the Academic Journals, due to its effective role in speeding up the publishing of scientific researches and enabling researchers to view their results immediately upon completion, which will enhance the chances of being internationally cited.

During the workshop, the light was shed on the technician frameworks and the internationally approved standards in the process of Online publishing, in addition to discussing the steps of practical application of this feature within the environment of scientific journals at the University.
