Under the supervision of Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Students, and Graduate Studies, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Adnan Al-Mayali, with the participation of a select group of college teaching staff members, the College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad organized an extracurricular volunteering activity for fourth-year students. The activity was designed to highlight the importance of sustainable development.
The activity included the preparation of an awareness poster aimed at raising students’ awareness of the concepts of environmental protection, supporting agriculture, reducing waste, and working to improve livelihoods, in line with the goals of sustainable development and the priorities of environmental and community action.
This activity is part of a series of activities the college is keen to organize to enhance students’ engagement in contemporary issues and develop their sense of responsibility toward society and the environment.
