As part of its annual academic plan, the College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad continues to conduct discussions of graduation research projects for fourth-year students in both morning and evening studies. These discussions are held under the supervision of specialized academic committees and in the presence of a number of professors and supervisors.
The presented research projects cover various topics in political thought, political systems, and international relations. Students present their research and undergo academic discussions aimed at testing their research capabilities and encouraging them to develop their academic skills by responding to the comments and inquiries raised by the evaluation committees.
These academic sessions are considered an important part of the graduation requirements and serve as a means to enhance the practical aspect of the academic curriculum, in addition to encouraging students to produce research that contributes to addressing the political reality of Iraq and meeting its intellectual and developmental needs.
