The Educational and Psychological Guidance Committee at the College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad held a symposium entitled “Graduation Ceremonies between Moral Values and Individual Behaviors”.
The symposium explained that graduation ceremonies are an important occasion in which educational institutions celebrate the achievements of their students and honor them for their academic efforts. In addition to the fact that some graduation ceremonies witness an undesirable phenomenon, represented by unprofessional behaviors that go beyond the framework of university respect and discipline. It is necessary to emphasize the importance of enhancing university awareness and social responsibility among students and encouraging them to adopt professional and respectful behaviors during graduation ceremonies and in their daily lives. In addition to that, the orientation of universities and educational institutions work on providing an educational environment that encourages positive interaction and professional behavior and achieves a balance between personal freedom and social responsibility in university life and outside it.
The symposium recommended emphasizing the importance of enhancing university awareness and social responsibility among students and encouraging them to adopt professional and respectful behaviors during graduation ceremonies and in their daily lives.
