The College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad completed the activities of its annual scientific conference entitled “Iraq and the paths of building the state… Obstacles to construction and elements of advancement”, which was held at the Freedom Hall in the college.
The third and final session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Khamis Daham Hamid, and was entitled “The Constitution and Federal Authorities Axis”. This session includes many researches such as “The problem of federalism in 2005 constitution” ,and “constitution crisis and political reform in Iraq” , and ” the problem of decentralization, and federalism ,and the Council of the Union in Iraq: solutions and results” , was also discussed. The last research in the last session of the conference was entitled “Application of Control over the Constitutionality of Laws under the Iraqi Constitution of 2005.”
At the end of the conference, the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Adel Al-Budaiwi, thanks and appreciates the scientific and preparatory committees, researchers, and the attendees who contributed to the success of the conference after presenting it in a way that suits our university and our mother college, in addition to distributing letters of appreciation to all participant researchers in the conference.
