The Scientific Promotions Committee at the College of Political Science/ University of Baghdad held its regular meeting, headed by Professor Dr. Hala Khaled Hamid, for the purpose of discussing the promotion procedures submitted by instructors.
After welcoming the committee members, the head of the committee stressed the need for everyone to commit to attending the periodic meetings of the Scientific Promotions Committee, in addition to the necessity of following up promotion transactions each according to his/her department, in order to provide assistance and clarification of the overall instructions and directives before recommending that the transaction be transferred from the department to the promotions committee.
A number of issues on the agenda were discussed, in addition to discussing the directives and instructions of the Central Committee in the University regarding academic promotions.
