The College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad discussed a master’s thesis entitled “The Role of Political Leadership in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after 2016 AD,” by the student “Shaima Ali Jawad,” and under the supervision of Professor Dr. “Ibtisam Muhammad Abdel Samri.”
The message explained that successful political leadership is that leadership that has adopted new development and cooperation programs, the impact of which is reflected in achieving its goals, in contrast to the traditional leadership that rejects change and imposes isolation and stagnation on its people. The leadership in Saudi Arabia, which differs and draws moderate political visions that define the state’s position through the role Which has gained a wide scope to organize rational political initiatives with simplicity, keep pace with these developments and overcome them with a thoughtful future vision.
In light of this, the message reached a number of points, the most prominent of which is that the political system in Saudi Arabia was known as a monarchy. The three powers (legislative-executive-judicial) emerged in the hands of the king, as this position was approved by the patriotic brothers of the kingdom (King Abdulaziz Al Saud) according to the order. After the recent establishment, the king was authorized to grant the crown prince to her children, after the outcome of the body, and the king remains in allowances for life, and he appoints the Council of Ministers and the Shura Council by issuing royal decrees and wills, and the upper partial majority is from the royal family or the family united to us.
