The College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad held a lecture for postgraduate students on publishing scientific research in reputable journals under the title “Political and Administrative Corruption in Iraq: Indicators and Solutions.”

The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Mayali, explained during his lecture that such lectures are held for postgraduate students in order to develop their skills in publishing scientific research in international indexed containers, indicating that today’s lecture dealt with the foundations of publishing followed in international containers, as well as how to communicate with international journals and how to publish in accordance with the principles of scientific research.
Al-Mayali stressed the need to pay attention to the academic reputation of the researcher and publisher and the methods of choosing a title that is appropriate to the research content, in terms of comprehensiveness, accuracy, and brevity, in addition to the importance of the abstract, introduction, conclusion, recommendations, research methods, and methods followed to achieve research hypotheses, and recording and documenting references and sources according to Chicago method.
