The Academic Guidance Unit at the College of Political Science, University of Baghdad, held a session with first-year students for the academic year 2023-2024, in the presence of the Assistant Professor and Dean, Dr. Adel Al-Badawi.
The Dean congratulated the first-year students on commencing their new academic year and transitioning from secondary school to university education. He emphasized the importance of adhering to university regulations and instructions governing student-faculty interactions, stressing the significance of regular attendance and active engagement with academic subjects within the classroom.
Moreover, the Academic Guidance Unit outlined the university’s profile, campus facilities, and underscored the significance of upholding university values and traditions pertinent to faculty members and university affiliates. It highlighted the importance of preserving university assets, including buildings, transportation, books, and adhering to university guidelines concerning academic behavior, maintaining an academic atmosphere, and refraining from topics unrelated to academia.
