The College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad held a workshop on entrepreneurship, as part of its activities to celebrate International Entrepreneurship Week.
The workshop included discussion of a number of research papers related to entrepreneurship, where the teacher, Dr. Niran Adnan Kazem, presented a paper entitled “Social Entrepreneurship in Iraq: Challenges and Opportunities,” and the assistant professor, Dr. Maysaa Latif Salman, and the assistant teacher, Lilo Adham Muhammad, presented a joint paper entitled “Marketing.” Sports and its importance.” For her part, teacher Areej Saad Adnan presented a paper entitled “Art Marketing in Contemporary Painting.”
In addition, the teacher, Dr. Hussein Ali Maktuf, and the assistant teacher, Miqdam Jaber Ahmed, presented a joint paper entitled “Government support to promote entrepreneurship in Iraq.” In conclusion, the teacher, Rand Adel Hamel, and Zahraa Haider Jassim presented a paper entitled, “Factors for Promoting Entrepreneurship in Iraq after 2005.”
In light of this, the research workshop aimed to define the concept of entrepreneurship, which means creating a new project capable of solving a problem and relying on the element of innovation, leadership and creativity, through its management and development, taking into account the difficulties associated with it.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the dialogue was opened to discuss the inquiries and questions raised by the attending professors.
