The Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad, Asst. Prof. Dr. Adel Al-Budaiwi, held a meeting with the college staff members, coinciding with the start of the 2023-2024 academic year, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Mayali, and Assistant dean for Administrative Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hisham Ezz Al-Din Majeed.
During his speech, the Dean of the College stressed that all necessary supplies had been prepared to begin the academic year, and he presented the problems and obstacles that obstructed the course of the academic year and their solutions, explaining important points, the most prominent of which were preparing for the new academic year and preparing for it in the optimal way, in addition to adhering to the weekly lecture schedule, indicating the importance of supporting scientific research and supplying it with all requirements and needs necessary for the continuity of brilliance of the mother college, emphasizing the scientific integrity of the completed researches and working to coordinate between supervisors and student researchers in the publishing process.
At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the College listened to the professors’ opinions and development proposals, by discussing all developments, positive and negative matters, if any, and developing appropriate solutions for them.
