The Preparatory Committee of the International Climate Conference – which will be held by the College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad, in cooperation with the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue, in early November of this year – met His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi.
During its meeting with His Excellency the Minister, the committee gave an explanation about the conference which is entitled “Iraq and Climate Change… Implications of Security and Development”, in which 7 kings and presidents from countries of the world will participate, as well as a number of institutions, organizations, and personalities concerned with climate change issues.
For his part, Al-Aboudi praised the efforts of the College of Political Science and the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue in organizing this conference, stressing the importance of taking care of the issue of climate change, which become the decisive issue in our current era.
The Preparatory Committee continues its work and preparations for the establishment of the International Climate Conference, by distributing official invitations to participate in the activities of the conference, which will be held for two days.
