The College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad, in cooperation with the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Supreme Youth Council, held a workshop titled “Diplomatic Protocol.” The event was sponsored by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Adel Al-Bedeewy, and attended by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Hisham Ezz El-Din Majeed, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Miyali.
During his management of the workshop, Lecturer Dr. Ammar Bahaa Al-Din highlighted the importance of diplomatic protocol and conduct. He explained the difference between protocol and etiquette, emphasized the significance of understanding body language protocol, and clarified the distinction between the terms “Green Zone” and “Red Zone” and their role in the success or failure of political communication.
Dr. Hamid Al-Maliki concluded the workshop with practical applications and a theoretical foundation of diplomatic protocol and etiquette, followed by the honoring of the event organizers with certificates of appreciation from the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in recognition of their efforts and contributions to the success of the program.
