The Arabic Language Unit and the Student Activities Unit at the College of Political Sciences, University of Baghdad, organized a poetic and cultural activity, under the sponsorship of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Adel Al-Badawi.
The head of the Arabic Language Unit, Dr. Shaimaa Muhammad Obaid, who managed the activity along with Dr. Hussein Fadel Mallah, indicated that the poetic and cultural activity included the recitation of poetry from popular and classical poetry by talented students of the college, in order to select distinguished students to participate in the university’s annual festival for popular poetry, which will be held in the Student Theater Hall in the Student Activities Department at the University of Baghdad on 30/4/2024.
At the end of the activity, the students and the attending guests participated in a number of events that included readings of popular and classical poetry.
