The Department of Political Systems at the College of Political Science, University of Baghdad, held a workshop titled “The Role of Iraqi Official Institutions in Integrating People with Special Needs,” under the patronage of the Assistant Professor, Dean of the College, Dr. Adel Al-Badaiwi.
The head of the department, Assistant Professor Ali Dariwal Al-Jubouri, pointed out that the workshop included three research papers. The first paper was presented by Assistant Professor Mohammed Aziz Abdul Hassan and addressed the topic “The Institutional and Legal Framework for Protecting the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Iraq.” The second paper was presented by Assistant Professor Sudad Mouloud Sabaa, focusing on “Legal Frameworks for People with Special Needs.” The third and final paper was presented by Lecturer Dr. Abeer Mohammed Abdul, titled “Legal Protection for People with Special Needs.”
At the end of the workshop, a dialogue session was opened to answer questions and inquiries regarding the role of Iraqi official institutions in integrating people with special needs.
