To consolidate and deepen the teaching of scientific political knowledge of the origins, principles, rules and mechanisms of managing public affairs (governance) in Iraq and the various countries of the world at the theoretical level and at the level of political practice in order to prepare specialists through solid scientific curricula and at a high level of scientific and political maturity to serve our country
Familiarity with political science fundamentals, foundations, and principles of political science, and the rules of political action at the official and popular levels, and graduating specialists who possess political knowledge and the ability to manage state affairs at the local, national and international levels
Preparing qualified people to study political science in depth, equipped with a method of scientific thinking and the ability to conduct academic research and investigate the scientific truth in the field of political thought, political regimes, the third world, and international studies.
- Preparing specialists to work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, universities, international and regional organizations, and jobs related to media, public relations, and teaching human rights and democracy.
