(Artificial Intelligence and Public Policy: Governance, Security, and Development)
on Wednesday and Thursday,

Message from the Dean
The conference’s scientific committee welcomes research abstracts that feature novel approaches to their topics or that present added research findings in the field of political science, in accordance with the conference themes, subject to the following conditions.
1- The research and its title must be consistent with the conference themes and must not have been previously published, submitted to another entity, or promised publication.
2- The research should be prepared according to the established scientific and methodological principles.
3- Providing a summary of (250-300) words in which the researcher reviews the importance of the research, its objectives and its problem.
4- The name of the researcher or researchers should be written at the top of the summary along with the place of work and the name of the country (email and WhatsApp phone number ).
5- A personal photo of the researcher or researchers should be placed at the top of the page along with a brief academic biography on one page, separate from the research summary.
6- The research paper should be written with two titles, one in Arabic and one in English.
7- After reviewing the comments, the researchers are informed of the accepted abstracts and the scientific committee invites them to complete the research to participate in the conference according to the following conditions:
*The number of pages of the research should not be less than (15) pages and not more than (20) pages.
*Font size 14 ( simplified Arabic ) for the text and 12 ( simplified Arabic ) for the margins.
* Submitted research is subject to electronic plagiarism checking.
The deadline for submitting research abstracts is September 20, 2025, and the deadline for submitting complete research papers is October 20, 2025.

General objective:
The conference seeks to provide an integrated scientific framework for understanding the multidimensional impacts of artificial intelligence technologies on public policies, governance systems, security and development, and to contribute to anticipating mechanisms for dealing with its challenges and opportunities at the local, regional and international levels.
First: Cognitive and theoretical objectives:
- Establishing the conceptual and theoretical frameworks of artificial intelligence from a political science perspective.
- Analyzing the structural transformations brought about by artificial intelligence in the concepts of state, sovereignty, security, and democracy.
- An extrapolation of the intellectual and philosophical implications of the technological revolution on contemporary political theories and post-humanist discourses.
- Exploring the complexities of the relationship between artificial intelligence and political values such as freedom, justice, equality, and human rights.
- Monitoring the cognitive transformations taking place in the fields of political and administrative sciences in light of the rise of artificial intelligence technologies.
Second: Strategic and security objectives:
- Assessing the geopolitical and security dimensions of the spread of artificial intelligence technologies and their impact on the structure of the international system and the balance of power.
- Analyzing the security challenges arising from the use of artificial intelligence in military fields and cyberattacks.
- Looking ahead to the future of diplomacy and international relations in light of the increasing reliance on artificial intelligence applications.
- Developing strategic visions to deal with cyber risks and protect critical infrastructure from AI-powered threats.
- Exploring avenues for international cooperation in setting ethical and legal standards and controls for the uses of artificial intelligence.
