The College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad held an honorary ceremony for Prof. Dr. Saad Moneim Nafeh Al-Sheikhly and Prof. Dr. Sabah Naas Shanafah, on the occasion of their retirement, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Adel Al-Budaiwi and his Associate for scientific affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed AlMeyali and Associate for Administrative Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Husham Ezzldeen Majeed and a number of staff members and employees.
The dean of the college said in his speech that the celebration came as a result of a tradition followed by the college in order to honor the professors who spent their lives serving the college and the university, by offering them a rewarding bid of work and sincerity, as they grant their knowledge to generations, and in light of that they deserve to be honoured to fulfill this debt for them wishing them a long, healthy and safe life.
And as an appreciation of their bid over the years in the university, the dean of the college presented bouquets of roses with shields of thanks and appreciation to them, amidst wishes by all attendees for continued success for them.
At the end of the honoring, the Dean of the College thanked this event which is full of happiness and joy expressing the depth of the bonds that link the professors with the college, thanking everyone for the kind attendance and the fragrant words that were said to them.
