Third-year students of the morning studies at the College of Political Science in the University of Baghdad visited Al Ayn Social Care Foundation under the supervision of Dr. Rasha Amer Sadeq Alrafqani.
During the visit, the students met with the management of the foundation, where they were briefed on the institution’s corridors and projects to support orphans, such as the clothing exhibition from the in-kind assistance which provided to families. They also learned about the rehabilitation and psychological counseling center that the foundation provides for orphans to support their psychological well-being and prepare them for integration into society. In addition, they learned about the “Hekayati Center”, through which Al Ayn Social Care Foundation seeks to create leaders and elites for the future from among its sons . Saying , the “Hekawati center is a cultural, recreational, and rehabilitation project aimed at providing orphans with an equal opportunity in the future in return for what their peers receive.
After learning about the institution’s details and projects, a sum of money was donated by third-year college students to be distributed to orphans through the foundation to meet the needs of families who lost their breadwinners due to terrorist acts or while performing their duty to the country. This initiative is the least that can be done for the families of these heroes who sacrificed their lives to protect the sanctities and land of the beloved country.
