The Governmental Program Unit at the College of Political Science, University of Baghdad, organized a scientific symposium entitled “Government Program: Bridging Theory and Reality.”
A group of faculty members leading the symposium provided a detailed explanation of ministerial agendas ,which serve as strategic roadmaps for achieving agreed-upon goals and addressing political, economic, security, educational, and cultural challenges within specific timelines. The ministerial agenda refers to a government’s comprehensive plans and objectives to be accomplished during its term, typically presented during its formation.
The symposium aimed to educate researchers, readers, and observers on the nature and effectiveness of government programs in advancing state institutions, particularly Iraqi universities.
Key Recommendations from the Symposium:
1. Increase funding and resources for state institutions, especially educational and research facilities.
2. Support scientific research and align it with labor market demands to foster innovation.
3. Strengthen international cooperation through academic and institutional partnerships.
