The scouting team from the College of Political Science participated in a Scouting workshop entitled “The Fundamentals of Scouting”, organized by the Student Activity Department and the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Engineering in partnership with the Student Activity Department at the Rectorate of the University of Baghdad.
The head of the Scouting team, Dr. Zaid Abdul Jabbar, noted that the workshop sought to emphasize both the theoretical and practical aspects of scouting while promoting a spirit of teamwork among participants through an exploration of the daily activities of scouts. The performance put forth by the College of Political Science’s Scouting team was met with admiration and gratitude.
The workshop concluded with several recommendations, the most prominent was to increase and repeat work practices to constantly emphasize the importance of scouting and its role in discovering young talents and utilizing their energy in voluntary activities.
At the end of the workshop, the scouting team of the College of Political Science was honoured with a certificate of appreciation.
