International Studies Department at the College of Political Science / University of Baghdad held a symposium entitled ( Al-Aqsa Flood…and its international and regional repercussions), under the auspices of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Adel Al-Budaiwi.
The head of the International Studies Department, Dr. Ahmed Hussein Shuhail, pointed out that the symposium touched several topics, most notably Al-Aqsa Flood between extrapolation and repercussions, as well as an examination of the West’s biased position toward the “Zionist entity,” the American and Russian position toward the conflict, and the repercussions on the Russian-Ukrainian war, the collapse of the Zionist strategy toward Gaza and the destruction of the “Zionist” Iron Dome myth, the costs and gains, and then the expected scenarios.
At the end of the symposium, the role and effectiveness of the Security Council towards the Palestinian issue was discussed, in addition to the openning discussion for the attending professors and answering their questions.
