The College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad discussed the master’s thesis tagged Analysis of the Conflict in Southern Sudan according to the CR SIPPABIO model. by the student “Ta’azur Falah Shindokh”, and headed by the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Adel Al-Budaiwi.
The thesis dealt with the conflict in southern Sudan according to the analytical model CR Sippabio, which reveals the reality of the continuity of the conflict in it despite its separation from the mother Sudan after a long struggle that lasted more than fifty years, which raises a major question, is the conflict in southern Sudan that ended with separation and the formation of an independent state Has ended the conflict in it according to the CR Sippabio model? The thesis showed the continuity of the factors feeding the conflict in southern Sudan from external sources, positions and interventions, according to the analytical model of the conflict CR Sippabio, which led to the result of the separation of the south from the mother country and to a civil war between its social and political components after the separation, as long as the sources, nutrients and interventions of the conflict were not properly addressed. external forces.
The study came out with a number of conclusions, including that ending the conflict in southern Sudan requires providing the elements of political, economic and social development, as well as working to build a strong central authority with a commitment to work in performing its functions in the best way, and working to develop an inclusive identity for all components of society in South Sudan while preserving cultural, linguistic, religious and ethnic diversity and counting it as a factor of diversity and richness and promoting the values of citizenship and a state in which human rights are preserved.
At the end of the discussion, the researcher was awarded a master’s degree with “Excellence”, wishing all our students success in their academic and practical lives.
