The College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad organized a protest and denunciation of the burning of the Holy Quran and the Iraqi flag, with the participation of the College Dean and a number of faculty, staff and students.
The organizers of the vigil denounced the unjust and cowardly act of one of the ignoble paid people in Sweden by burning a copy of God’s dear book, the Holy Qur’an, and the symbol of sovereignty, the Iraqi flag.
For its part, the Deanship of the College called for denouncing this heinous act by all Muslims and responding to it, demanding that firm measures be taken to respond to these actions that offend the Book of God, our Iraqi flag, and our true religion.
