The Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad,Asst.prof. Dr. Adel Al-Budaiwi, received Ali Abdul-Zahra Al-Manakhi, Director of the Environment and Climate Office in the Prime Minister’s Office, to discuss the preparations for the Iraq conference and climate change… Implications for Security and Development,” which will be held by the College of Political Science and the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue, in cooperation with the Islamabad Institute for Policy Research, at the beginning of next November.
The Dean of the College indicated that the conference seeks to achieve the maximum benefit by discussing its objectives and axes, which will include the first axis, climate change .. impacts and responses, and the second axis will be concerned with sustainable development and response to the repercussions of climate change on security, and the third axis will discuss Iraq and the challenges of climate change and risk management.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst .Prof.Dr. Ahmed Al-Mayali, they discussed the latest preparations, the map of the sessions, and the topics that the conference will address.
The third international conference of the Faculty of Political Science will be held on 1-2-11-2023.
