{"id":5829,"date":"2026-09-16T08:46:20","date_gmt":"2026-09-16T08:46:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.copolicy.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=5829"},"modified":"2026-09-16T08:46:20","modified_gmt":"2026-09-16T08:46:20","slug":"college-of-political-science-discusses-a-masters-thesis-on-security-and-peace-in-the-political-thought-of-the-israeli-right-after-2000","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.copolicy.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=5829","title":{"rendered":"College of Political Science Discusses a Master\u2019s Thesis on Security and Peace in the Political Thought of the Israeli Right after 2000"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad, on Thursday morning, July 2, 2026, held a discussion of the master\u2019s thesis submitted by researcher Ahmed Asad Ali, entitled \u201cSecurity and Peace in the Political Thought of the Israeli Right after 2000,\u201d in the Dr. Jihad Al-Hassani Hall.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The thesis sought to examine the position of the duality of security and peace in the political thought of the Israeli Right after 2000, and to analyze how it is employed to achieve political gains and justify policies based on violence, expansion, and the exclusion of the other. It also discussed the most prominent security propositions of the Israeli Right, the impact of security crises on shaping its vision, and its position on peace and the proposed solutions it adopts, in addition to exploring the implications of this duality for the future of the Israeli entity and the political Right.
