Assist Lec. Sally Abdulateef Theyab, a faculty member at the College of Political Science \u2013 University of Baghdad and a member of the High Ministerial Committee for Countering Violent Extremism, attended an awareness seminar entitled \u201cYes to Love and Tolerance No to Extremism and Excess\u201d that was organized by the Committee in collaboration with the College of Islamic Sciences \u2013 Iraqi University, under the auspices of His Excellency Dr. Naeem Al Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The instructor took part in the first meeting of the Ministerial Committee, which discussed future plans and operational mechanisms for developing national programs to raise awareness and prevent violent extremism. In addition, it focused on promoting median values and moderation across various segments of society.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This participation in crucial in underscoring the active role of the College of Political Science \u2013 University of Baghdad in the intellectual and research contributions to national initiatives addressing violent extremism, while also aligning with Goal #16 of the Sustainable Development (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
