{"id":4302,"date":"2025-09-03T17:53:26","date_gmt":"2025-09-03T17:53:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.copolicy.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=4302"},"modified":"2025-09-03T17:53:26","modified_gmt":"2025-09-03T17:53:26","slug":"college-of-political-science-at-the-university-of-baghdad-discusses-a-masters-thesis-on-sustainable-development-and-peacebuilding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.copolicy.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=4302","title":{"rendered":"College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad Discusses a Master\u2019s Thesis on Sustainable Development and Peacebuilding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad discussed the master\u2019s thesis submitted by the student Omar Shalal Mohammed Mousa, entitled:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u201cThe Role of Sustainable Development in Peacebuilding in Post-Conflict Areas after 2003: Iraq as a Model\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The thesis consisted of three chapters addressing the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of sustainable development, along with an analysis of reconstruction policies in Iraq after 2003. The study emphasized that comprehensive development represents a fundamental pillar for achieving peace and reducing the likelihood of renewed conflicts, through the creation of job opportunities, the improvement of infrastructure, the enhancement of justice, and the empowerment of social groups.<\/p>\n<p>The examination committee was composed of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prof. Ibtisam Mohammed Abd \u2013 President<\/li>\n<li>Asst. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ibrahim Salman \u2013 Member<\/li>\n<li>Asst. Prof. Dr. Basel Mohsen Mehna \u2013 Member<\/li>\n<li>Asst.
