The College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad examined the doctoral thesis entitled \u201cThe Intellectual Foundations of Arab Normalization with the Israeli Entity: A Critical Study\u201d by student Ismail Akbar Mohammed, supervised by Professor Dr. Tarek Abdel Hafiz. The thesis addressed Arab normalization with the (Israeli entity) and its ensuing political, economic, and religious strategies. It is regarded as part of a new model aimed at establishing regional blocs with a political flavor that transcend national and ethnic boundaries. Essentially, it seeks to enable this entity to dominate the Arab region and to appropriate national and religious identities, as well as its resources, by invoking shared historical ties in the region, technological capacities, and the potential international fears regarding diminishing resources and their mismanagement by certain states, including some Arab states. Behind normalization with the Arab states lies the project of a \u201cNew Middle East\u201d and the American and Western ambitions to keep the region\u2014and its energy reserves\u2014away from any potential competition from major or superpowers.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
