{"id":3570,"date":"2025-03-23T19:48:24","date_gmt":"2025-03-23T19:48:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.copolicy.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=3570"},"modified":"2025-03-23T19:48:24","modified_gmt":"2025-03-23T19:48:24","slug":"the-department-of-political-thought-holds-a-seminar-titled-the-dangers-of-the-drug-phenomenon-in-iraq","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.copolicy.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=3570","title":{"rendered":"The Department of Political Thought Holds a Seminar Titled &#8220;The Dangers of the Drug Phenomenon in Iraq&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: 'Open Sans';\">The Department of Political Thought at the College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad held a seminar titled &#8220;The Dangers of the Drug Phenomenon in Iraq and Methods of Addressing It.&#8221;<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: 'Open Sans';\">A group of faculty members from the department, who moderated the seminar, pointed out that the spread of drugs in Iraq poses a serious challenge that threatens the fabric of society. Drug use and trafficking rates have risen significantly in recent years, negatively impacting security and social stability.
