Scientific lecture was delivered by Ibin Sina Unit in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of political science , the lecture entitled “Drugs and Society Mutual Challenges”.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Lecture focused on the phenomena of drugs addiction that has been recently spread in the Iraqi Society, showing the types of drugs , their risks on public health of both individuals and society , and clarifying that drugs addictions is forbidden in Islamic Legislations , listing the main reasons behind the spreading of this phenomena , and how to tackle it on both levels : the individual, and the social one by attempting to fix the problems of addictions in order to protect society from these risks.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The lecture aimed to increase awareness among students about the phenomenon of drugs and addiction, as addiction has become one of the dominant phenomena that the society suffers from, and to guide parents on how to deal with their children and contain them in order to protect them from this phenomenon.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
