During the workshop, Dean Dr. Al-Badewi emphasized the importance of developing a comprehensive strategy to combat the ideas encouraging youth migration. This requires collaborative efforts from state institutions and media entities to raise awareness about the dangers of irregular migration, as well as supporting small projects to meet the needs of youth and establish a stable income for them. The workshop aimed to educate attendees about the risks associated with migration, including its legal, economic, and psychological repercussions for migrants. It also shed light on the plight of Iraqi migrants and their living conditions, illustrating the severe dangers they face, such as drowning, murder, and robbery, as well as the risks posed by adverse weather conditions and the potential for imprisonment due to violations of host country laws. The workshop recommended that the government take necessary measures to curb the phenomenon of youth migration.
