The Faculty of Political Science at the University of Baghdad discussed the master’s thesis which titled \u201cthe intellectual developments of political Islam movements in Morocco after 2011\u201d, by the student: Huda Khadim Muhammad<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The thesis dealt with how the movements of political Islam in Morocco played an important role in various intellectual and political fields alike, because of the great impact of these movements had on the level of contemporary Islamic political thought, from intellectual and doctrinal visions that interacted with the political reality, and its main goal was to establish an Islamic state. All of this coincided with the political developments that Morocco witnessed in the early nineties of the twentieth century and the occurrence of constitutional reforms that contributed to achieving a wider margin of political participation. Issues related to politics and the management of public affairs, and here the topic (intellectual development) of these movements was of great importance, especially in its political aspect, which had a clear impact in terms of finding a solution between what comes to us from Western thought, and what is rooted in the Islamic heritage (Quran and Sunnah), and its jurisprudential frameworks that outline the nature of dealing with these incoming concepts, which constitute a conceptual shift in how to deal with the state, power, and political participation in its contemporary framework, and this gives a character and a hint of what the intellectual developments of these movements can be, follow-up, analyze, and anticipate their future according to their contemporary reality. The study indicates that political ideas developed within the movements of political Islam under the pressure of reality, without being subject to theoretical maturation and the clarity it entails. Political work that contradicts these foundations and roots in many areas.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

At the end of the discussion, the researcher was awarded a master’s degree with a grade of “very good”. We wish all our students success in their academic and practical lives.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
