Students of the third stage in the evening studies at the College of Political Science \/ University of Baghdad held an academic symposium entitled \u201cPolitical Participation of Youth in Iraq after 2003,\u201d under the auspices of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Adel Al-Budaiwi.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nDr. Firas Gorgis Aziz indicated during his supervision of the symposium that it included four axes. The first axis was entitled: The Conceptual Framework of Political Participation and the Reality of Political Participation in Iraq. The second axis included obstacles of political participation. The third axis included mechanisms for enhancing political participation. The fourth and final axis was entitled The Future of Political participation.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nThe symposium reached a number of recommendations, the most prominent of which is involving young people in the election nomination process, providing political education, and supporting active youth.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
